I'm actually posting this from my iPhone, so lets see how well it works :3
So last month I purchased the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, in the lightest shade, 110. I got it from Shoppers, but you can probably get it from just about anywhere.
First of all, I want to say that almost every product of Maybelline's that I own, I love. So I figured I would try this one out. Another reason is because I got a beauty blender sponge so I needed a liquid foundation to try it with.
The packaging is simple but I actually really like it. It looks nice and lots better than my others.
But upon opening it, I'm not a fan of it. I don't like that I have to dump it on my hand and waste some or wash my hands after.
I've applied this with both my beauty blender sponge and a foundation brush, but I prefer the sponge as it goes on more even, gives more coverage and doesn't look streaky.
I should also add that I have oily skin, so I didn't think this through.
In my opinion, it's quite heavy on your skin and makes it feel greasy instantly. You do need a powder over this.
It blends nicely and looks good on my skin, but because its a liquid and I can't just use my hands like normal, application time is doubled if not tripled. Not good for an everyday makeup routine.
I find because it is heavier on my skin and more greasy, I do breakout a lot more when wearing this.
But it does cover scarring quite well if you layer it up.
Overall, it's a nice product and i'll use the rest of it up, but I won't be repurchasing this.
It's not something I find myself reaching for or packing with me when I travel.
My rating for it is a 6/10
