ELF Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer Review!!!

Hey everyone!!!

So if you recall, a while ago I did an ELF haul, where I had purchased their Studio Face Primer. It was probably one of the items I was most excited to use, as I hadn't tried any type of primer prior.

So this is what it looks like. Ignore the stuff in the back. :p
I actually really liked the packaging. It was simple and easy to use. I'm currently using a primer that's in a pot and it's annoying cause most of the product gets under my nails. :c

It's actually pretty sleek looking for the cost ($6)
The pump sometimes stuck though, which was annoying cause it would end up shooting the product halfway across my room.
I also got mine in Radiant Glow, cause at the time they were sold out of the others.

Yeah, it looks like that. After a month of using it, it started being really nasty.
At first, I really liked it cause it was just like a thick liquid foundation, but then it became this golden glittery turd that was extremely hard to blend in.
Usually it would glide over my skin no problem and leave a bit of glitter, which I didn't mind.
But now whenever I attempt to use it, the first place I put my fingers to apply it are extremely glittery and gold, and it refuses to blend or do anything, which is really annoying.
It also falls off your skin if you don't blend it instantly.

I applied it over all of my hand, and I'm not even kidding when I say it took a good TWO minutes to blend the tiniest bit onto my hand. It's really annoying when I'm in a hurry and it takes that long!

One of the most annoying things though is that I have about 1/5 of the thing left, and can't even use it proper. :c I mean yeah, I only paid $6, but still, I paid for the damned thing, I wanna use it!

Overall, I would rate it a 6/10.
If you're able to use it all before it does the weird clumpy turd thing, props to you. But if you don't think you'll be able to, I wouldn't recommend this. There are much better primers out there that actually last.
I might be repurchasing this but in another colour, just to try. Maybe mine was just older than I thought?

I hope this review was helpful :3

Recent eBay Purchases Part 2!!!

Hey everyone!

I've been trying to get into the habit of blogging more often, and while I was at work, I started thinking "what could i blog about today though." and then I thought "well i really like eBay. that's where i get most of my stuff from..." so it was kind of obvious!
I've done one of these posts before, and I was thinking of doing them every few months or so. :3

I've cut back on my spendings, but since my last post, I've gotten quite a bit of stuff.
I love buying off eBay cause everything is always so cheap, and I'm very rarely disappointed. Anytime I don't receive my item, I contact the seller and they always give me a refund or resend the item!!

Let's jump into it, shall we?

This is my most recent purchase, and while I'm still waiting for it, I know it's going to be my favorite as well. It looks so soft and cuddly!!
Lately I've found myself becoming super obsessed with anything Rilakkuma, and I even have a little wishlist specifically for it!
This one is 50cm, which is the perfect size for cuddling with on those long lonely nights. :c

If you follow my blog, you've probably seen this a few times. It's by far my favorite eyeliner ever, for SO many reasons!
First of all, look at the packaging. It's adorable. This is actually the third one I've ordered, but I gave one away to one of my friends because I was in a nice mood, and the one I'm currently using; I don't know how much is left but I have a feeling it's running low.
I have extremely oily skin, and my eyelids are the worst of it all, and this is the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge or budge or anything. It stays on all day and it so perfect. And it's less than a $1!!!

I had been wanting a new purse for a while, which is kinda sad because I was never one for purses because they're just so annoying in my opinion, but I saw this one and for some reason, I felt like I had to get it. I received it about two weeks ago, and it's so perfect. You can adjust the strap so it can go cross body as well, and the color I got is just really nice.
I always get a lot of compliments on this bag wherever I go! :3

A while ago I was surfing eBay with my friend and found these beauties, so I ordered a pair for each of  us, in red. They're really adorable, and durable!! I can just throw these in my purse and they don't break or anything. I was afraid one of my books or something would break them, but they still look like brand new.
They're also super cute and great for the summer.

Right now, you're probably thinking "what the fuq" but yes, it's exactly what it sounds, and looks like. It's literally a stuffed Rilakkuma, with the back taken out so you can put your phone in it!!!!
I'm so in love with this bad boy, but the only downside is that it doesn't fit in my pocket and I can't use the camera with it. Other than that, it's perfect. I take it usually when I'm going on a date or out somewhere.
It looks really funny when you call someone on it though. :p

After two years of having the same swimsuit, I kind of wanted a new one. I saw this one on eBay and couldn't resist!!!
I'm usually a little weary of ordering this kinda thing online just because you never know how it's gonna fit, but I've learned if it's a Korean item, just order a size bigger because they usually fit small.
It's actually a three piece set; the top, shorts and a regular bottom. I wear it with the shorts though cause they're really cute.
I got a lot of compliments on this, and I love it because no one else in my city owns it! Mwahaha.

Those are the most recent things I've gotten off eBay, and they're all so perfect!
I'm really excited to be doing these types of posts more often. I hope you guys like them, and have a beautiful day!!!

Favorite Drinks from Starbucks!!!

Hey everyone!!

Recently I've been going to Starbucks, a lot! That got me thinking "hey maybe I should do a post on starbucks since it's basically my first love." so here it is!

I don't just love Starbucks, I'm addicted to it. I go almost once a day, sometimes even twice. There's six of them where I live, and two of them know me extremely well. :3
Instead of listening to me blab on and on about them though (I could literally do it for hours) let's move on.

Green Tea Frappe
This is by far my favorite drink, and the one that everyone kinda knows me by. When the staff see this drink getting made, they know it's mine.
I don't even like green tea at all, but I tried this on a whim, and sweet baby pickles is it delicious!!
I've probably had at least a hundred of these bad boys, and they can actually be a tricky drink. I've had a few that taste like straight up green tea and that's it.
If they're made right, they taste like this creamy delicious green tea thing (hence the name) and they're just so good. If you stir in the whipped cream, that makes them a little bit sweeter too. :3

PassionTea Lemonade
As far as I know, this is a year round drink, but for some reason, I never think of ordering them until it's actually summer time.
Something I should add though, is that you can get the normal Passiontea, or you can get the Passiontea lemonade. I've had both, and much prefer the lemonade version. It's sweeter and just tastes better in my opinion. I made one of my best friends addicted to it.
It's also really pretty. I can usually down one of these in less than ten minutes (that's a big deal for me)

Cotton Candy Frappe
The Vanilla Bean frappe with raspberry syrup, better known as the 'Cotton Candy' frappe, is such an amazing drink. When you order it, you usually have to tell them what's in it, just a heads up.
It's beautiful and pink, which I love. When I first ordered it, I didn't think it would be this colour for some reason. I thought it would be a pale pink like the Strawberries and Creme frappe, but it was a lot more vibrant, and it was gorgeous.
I'm not evening joking when I say this tastes like cotton candy either.
If I have a big date coming up and have no access to a toothbrush, mints, gum, etc for some reason but I'm around a Starbucks, this is my go to drink cause it makes my breath smell (and taste) just like this!!

Mocha Frappe
This is actually the first drink I ever tried, and usually one of the ones I suggest to people who have never tried Starbucks before.
They used to add a chocolate drizzle on it, but for whatever reason they don't now unless I ask. :c
When I want a drink that has actual coffee in it, this is my favorite. It tastes so good, and has a chocolately flavour to it, but it's not overpowering, hence why I love it.

Salted Caramel Frappe
This one is unfortunately a winter time drink, which is really sad because if it was a year round thing, it would probably be my most ordered drink.
It's just like the caramel frappe, but they put seasalt on the top which somehow makes the entire thing taste 10x better!! Again, this one has actual coffee in it, which is super good for those days when I can't function properly.
(sometimes if you go to a less busy Starbucks, you can still get this if they haven't run out of the salted topping)

Creme Brulee Latte
This is probably my favorite hot drink, but again, it's only a Christmas time thing. I'm not a big fan at all of their hot drinks, but this is the one that I can actually stand.
I haven't had one of these in so long, so I don't remember exactly how to describe it. The best thing I can say is to try it around Christmas time though.
When these drinks come out every year, they usually have a buy one get one free special I think, so bring a buddy with you!!

White Chocolate Mocha
This is something they have year round, so next time you want a hot drink so you can snuggle up by the fireplace and read a good book, this is the one to try!!
One of my friends actually recommended this to me one time, so I was like "okay fine i'll just try it" and I'm so glad I did! Where I live, even in the summer it can still be pretty cold, so I can just order this and be on my way.
Although I haven't had one for a long time because it's actually been pretty nice.
I believe this has a coffee base, and it's a little sweeter. I'm not one that usually likes sweets, but this is so good, and one of my top picks for a hot drink if the Creme Brulee one isn't available.

Cheesecake Brownie
I don't even know why these exist, they're so addictive they should be illegal. I can literally buy them out of these, and eat them all day long.
It tastes exactly what it sounds like. It melts in your mouth and gives you a foodgasm.
These are apparently limited edition as well.

Double Chocolate Brownie
Again, another brownie. I don't know why but I'm mega obsessed with brownies.
These ones are best warmed up (I always ask them to cause I can never do it properly at home) and they're just so good. They're a little cheaper than the Cheesecake Brownies, and these are available all the time.
I'm trying to cut back some, but these are still my weakness.

Red Velvet Whoopie Pie
These sadly, are discontinued for some reason, but I'm sharing them anyways.
These little sweetie pies (ha!) had creme cheese icing in between two soft red velvet mini cake things, drizzled with icing. They were able to be eaten in just two bites (unless you're me and shove the entire thing in your mouth)
I definitely got people addicted to these as well.

These are my absolute favorite things to order from Starbucks whenever I go there. They're always so good, and the people are always really nice. Usually when I try something new, and let them know that, they always offer to make me something else, free of charge! They did that when I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte (i wasn't a fan)
They are a little on the expensive side (usually around $4-6) but in my opinion, it's worth it, not just because of the drinks, but because of the friendly staff.
If you go when they're busy, they usually ask for your name too. I used to say cool things like Megatron and whatnot.

I got a Mocha frappe today, and they totally misspelled my name, even though the guy asked. I found it funny :3

If you guys try any of these drinks/snacks, let me know what you think of them!! Or let me know what your favorite drinks are so I can try them!

Favorite Things From Lush!!!

Hey pretties!!

Last week I asked on my tumblr what kind of blog post you would all like to see, and the most requested one was my favorite things from Lush!!

If you didn't know, I actually went into Lush for the first time two weeks ago, and everyone says their first time is always overwhelming. But I had ordered online beforehand and looked around, so I knew what to look for and expect.
But if you have the chance to go into a store, I definitely recommend it. It smells really good and the staff was so friendly.

I'll be doing full reviews on each product in future posts.

Also a little heads up, if you go into the store, you can usually ask for samples of things that you want to try. I got five samples!
But if you order online, they usually give you a little sample of one of their soaps to try out. :3

But enough with all the talking, let's just jump right into it.

My absolute favorite is one I ordered two weeks ago and just got last week. I can tell this is going to be something that I'll be ordering when I run out.
If you couldn't tell, it's a facial cleanser. I plan on doing a full review for it in the future, so watch out for that!!

Ocean Salt is a face and body scrub, and if you've heard of Lush before, you've probably heard of this before. It's one of their best sellers, for obvious reasons. :3

FUN is a product that comes in different colours/scents. I've only tried the yellow and pink fun, but the pink is my favorite. It smells a lot better in my opinion and the color is so pretty. I think maybe my yellow one was defective :P
FUN can be used as a play-dough, shampoo, bubble bath and body wash.
2.5% of sales also go towards a good cause.

Tea Tree Water is a toner, so I just spray it on after I wash my face. It tastes really gross, but works really good. I've noticed I haven't been breaking out as much since i've been using it daily.

Karma Komba is a solid shampoo, which is exactly what it sounds! It's a bar of shampoo! This was actually the first thing from Lush that I tried, and fell in love with. You do have to buy a tin to hold it so it doesn't melt and waste away in your shower, but you can reuse the tin anyways.
Karma is also the signature scent for Lush. :3

I actually got this as a sample, twice! I gave one away to a friend and am currently using the other. It smells just like the Karma Komba solid shampoo :3

Snow Fairy
I actually can't link this one, because it's only available during Christmas time, but it smells SO good. I ordered the smallest size and I still have most of it because I want to ration it. ; - ;

Sweetie Pie is a shower jelly, as it says on the packaging. It looks and feels like jell-o when you hold it, but it smells really good!! It has little sparkles in it, which is awesome.
It's kinda hard to use, but it's definitely fun!

These are my favorite things that I've tried SO FAR from Lush.
I've tried other things, but some of them I'm not a big fan of, or I didn't find them to be worth the money.
One thing to keep in mind though when using Lush products is that they are extremely clarifying, meaning after using them, your skin/hair will feel extremely clean to the point where it squeaks. They also have expiration dates on all the products, most of them lasting a little longer than a year.

And when ordering from the online store, I always go for the cheapest shipping. It gets to my house within two days usually, which is how long it takes for the most expensive shipping.

I hope you all liked this post, and let me know if you'd like to see more of these in the future!! ^__^
